Back in August I attended my first festival in Japan. For some inexplicable reason I am posting these photos now, over three months after the event. Anyway, these photos are from awa odori, which is a dance festival/parade which is part of oban, which is a Buddhist holiday to honor the spirit’s of ancestors.
