Words that inspire me

I like to collect quotes, I usually love ones that have to do with travel, but not always. I will keep a running list here of some of the greatest.

“When I was young, I used to have this thing where I wanted to see everything. I used to think, ‘How can I die without,  seeing every inch of this world?'”–Leonardo DiCaprio (Obviously I love this one as it is the namesake of my blog. I, like Leo, used to think this growing up. I still do, however, and it often makes me very sad that it probably cannot be a reality. Also, Leo is planning on marrying me, so I clearly have a soft spot for anything he says.)

“There isn’t a train I wouldn’t take, no matter where it’s going.”–Edna St. Vincent Milla

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.” –St Augustine

“I am not born for one corner; the whole world is my native land.”–Seneca

“The scariest moment is always just before you start.”– Stephen King

“The man who doesn’t read good books has no advantage over the man who can’t read them.”–Mark Twain

“The book to read is not the one that thinks for you but the one that makes you think.”–Harper Lee

“A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.”–John Augustus Shedd

“I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.”–Mary Anne Radmacher
